Mr. Sherif Beshara

Group CEO

Mr Sherif Beshara is a leader with vast experience in the legal industry. With a master's degree in International Law, Mr Beshara's career spans over a decade with tenures as a legal counsel, chairman, and most recently, Group CEO of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group of Companies. His experience covers various fields, including finance, aviation, and corporate, with responsibilities that include advising CEOs and counseling on airline matters, major JV projects, and uninsured litigations. He was appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of Noor Foundation by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Noor Foundation works towards the UAE government's objective to eliminate the causes of visual impairment worldwide. Mr Beshara ranked among Forbes's Top 100 Healthcare Leaders in 2023 and 2022, Forbes' Top CEOs of the Middle East 2021, 2022, and 2023, and Top 10 in the Arabian Business Dubai 100: Meet the 100 People You Need to Know in the Emirate in 2024. Also, Mr Beshara was a Legal 500 Middle East member from 2016 to 2017. As Group CEO, Mr Beshara oversees the entire Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group portfolio, leading the change across the group's diverse functions. He guides the group's vision and develops and spearheads internal audit and corporate compliance programs. He also participates in formulating general management policy as an executive management team member.

Mr. Jasper Kateli

Group Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kateli has over 35 years of experience in key areas such as Finance, Strategy, Materials Management, IT, and Human Resources. As Group Chief Financial Officer of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group, he is responsible for the complete finance, audit, banking, and investment functions of the Group. He also chairs the Business Steering Committee of the IT transformation initiative.

Before his current role, Mr. Kateli was the Chief Financial Officer of American Hospital, Dubai, the largest entity within the Group.

Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Kateli held senior financial and commercial positions in Oman and India.

Mr. Kateli is an Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; International Member, Healthcare Financial Management Association, USA; Member, CFO Forum, Healthcare Financial Management Association, USA, and International Member, American College of Healthcare Executives, USA.

Dr.Tarek Dufan

Group Medical CMO - American Hospital Dubai

Dr Tarek Dufan is the Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Radiation Oncology at American Hospital Dubai. He also serves as Medical Advisor to the Mohamed & Obaid Al Mulla Board of Directors, the holding Group of American Hospital Dubai. His other responsibilities include being a board member of the Monrol Board of Directors and Medical Practices Higher Committee of Dubai Health Authority. Dr Dufan’s leadership, extensive experience, and strategic vision are critical drivers of American Hospital Dubai’s excellence and reach. He was instrumental in restructuring Mohamed and Obaid Al Mulla Group’s healthcare division, forging new paths to set standards in performance and innovation. Previously, Dr Dufan was Chief of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology and Director of Radiation Oncology at American Hospital Dubai. He also held the position of General Manager, United Medical Supplies (Unimed), part of Mohamed and Obaid Al Mulla Group. His long and distinguished career includes being a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Sanford Bismarck Health Center and CHI St. Alexius Health Center, North Dakota, USA. He was Medical Director at Bismarck Cancer Center for eight years and worked as a Cancer Liaison Physician. Dr Dufan has certification from the American Board and the Canadian Board in Radiation Oncology.

Mr. Fadi Nassar

Group Head of Human Capital

Mr. Nassar leads and develops the Human Capital functions of Healthcare, Hospitality and Real Estate, the three main sectors across the Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group. He provides overall direction to maximise the human resource potential of the Group in alignment with its organisational aim and develops strategic functional KPIs and objectives for the Group’s employees.

Mr. Nassar’s dynamic track record is powered by his vital contributions in Group HR Strategy, HR Transformation Programs, Change Management, and many more allied functions.

Before joining the Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla group, Mr. Nassar worked with Arabtec Holding as Group Head of HR, with Towers Watson as a Talent Management & Rewards Consultant, and with Philadelphia Consulting as an HR Management Consultant.

Mr. Nassar has a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, with Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP), and is a Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional.

Ms.Samah Aziz

Group Chief Marketing Officer

An accomplished marketing and communication professional, Samah is a qualified strategist and business developer who enjoys a breadth of expertise across a multitude of sectors, covering IT, healthcare, pharma, and real estate. Spanning more than 18 years in the industry, she has held tenures with some of the most prominent companies and organizations in the UAE, including Microsoft, Synchronicity, and TECOM Investments, with positions ranging from program manager to head of marketing. She currently holds the position of Group Chief marketing officer, where she is employing her strategic planning and public relations expertise to implement and manage the group’s marketing and business development strategies as well as overlook the marketing plans of the hospital. Samah holds a higher diploma in management information systems from Lambton College, Canada

Mr. Naser Al Maghtheh

Group Head of Procurement

Naser Al Maghtheh’s role as Group Head Procurement involves strategy development, procurement, business planning, operations, budgeting, and workforce for the AlMulla Group. He directs and manages the performance of these areas in alignment with the group’s overall business growth strategy. With a solid commercial knowledge and excellent insights into global financial markets gained over a career of more than 25 years, Al Maghtheh’s leadership and executive prowess straddle the worlds of business development and people management.  Before joining the Mohammad & Obaid AlMulla group, Al Maghtheh worked with leading entities such as Sharjah Aviation Services, Arab Company for Shared Services FZ. LLC (wholly owned by Arab Bank), Arab Bank and Arab Life & Accident Insurance Company.  Al Maghtheh holds a Bachelor of Science (Commerce) from the University of Jordan, Amman, and is bilingual with excellent communication and report writing skills in Arabic and English.

Mr. Ziad Hamze

Chief of Projects

Ziad Hamzeh brings over 25 years of experience managing leading construction projects in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. His exceptional leadership skills are evident in his various successful higher management roles, where he led as a project head or director, performing multiple tasks. Some duties included communicating on project status with clients, negotiating and allocating best pricing with subcontractors and suppliers, and analyzing critical structures for projects. In his current role as Group Head of Projects at Mohamad & Obaid Al Mulla Group, he manages the entire Group’s portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered with a best-practice delivery approach; within the agreed scope, time cost, and quality. Under his supervision, he has finalized the completion of 2 new Ishraq Hotels in Dubai South. He has also managed renovation and expansion projects within The American Hospital of Dubai and its various satellite clinics. He also manages all Al Mulla Real Estate projects that have over 1500 residential units spread all over UAE. 

Mr. Joseph Karam

Chief Operating Officer - Ishraq Hospitality

Joseph Karam, Chief Operating Officer at Ishraq Hospitality, has held leadership positions across Thailand, Qatar, and the UAE. He has previously led the Onyx Hospitality flagship property Amari Watergate Bangkok, held a stint as Hotel Manager at IHG’s hotels in Dubai Festival City, was holding a leadership position in Qatar during the Asian Games, and was working with Rotana Hotels Management in Dubai. He was also the Cluster General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express Jumeirah and Crowne Plaza Dubai Deira and Dubai Jumeirah, before becoming Group Director of Operations for Ishraq overseeing the performance for 8 hotels since 2022. With a focus on operational excellence and personable leadership, he implements creative initiatives while cherishing time with family and friends outside work.

Mr. Tarek Saliba

General Manager (Real Estate)

Mr. Saliba has over 17 years of experience in the real estate field between Canada and the United Arab Emirates. Before joining Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group as General Manager for the Real Estate subsidiary, he held several senior positions with prominent companies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, such as Al Futtaim Group and Bloom Holding.

Mr. Saliba currently oversees the operations of the real estate arm as well as the property, facility management and leasing of a mixed-use portfolio in addition to the development of new projects across Dubai. He works closely with the Group subsidiaries on common initiatives and long-term strategies.

Dr. Helda Osta

General Manager
(Unimed & Stay Well)

Dr. Helda Al Osta provides high-level leadership, strategy, and advocacy in managing the hospital’s pharmacy services. She develops, implements, and evaluates the hospital’s policies, procedures, and standards of practices affecting patient care in alignment with departmental and regulatory objectives. Her responsibilities also include planning annual pharmacy budgets, performance review with hospital CMO and employee performance. Dr. Osta is also working as Deputy General Manager, UNIMED (sister company of American Hospital Dubai); Assistant Director of Pharmacy, American Hospital Dubai; Pharmacist Informatics Officer in American hospital Dubai, and Pharmacist in Charge in reputable pharmacies in Dubai and Baghdad. She has been a lecturer in the Pharmaceutical Department at Ajman and Baghdad University/Pharmacy College. Dr. Osta has an M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy degree from Baghdad University and has completed MIT Management, Sloan School Executive Program Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Her opinion is much sought-after by the UAE media on pharmaceutical regulations.
